Žekovec - Mozirska koča na Golteh

Access to starting point:
We drive to Mozirje, where at the roundabout we head in the direction of the sign "Golte". After 4 km of driving, we arrive in the village Žekovec, where we park at the lower station of the cable car.

Route description:
From the starting point, we return along the path by which we came by car and at the top of the ascent (slope), at the signpost for Mozirska koča, we turn left. The asphalt road soon turns into gravel, then a signpost directs us right into the forest. We follow the well-marked path, which subsequently crosses the road (gravel or asphalt) several times. Along the way, there is also a water spring, where we can refresh ourselves. After crossing the asphalt road, the path above it leads us to Mozirska koča na Golteh.

The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Hotel Golte ( 15 min), Javorca (Golte), Boskovec (1 h 5 min)
