I like following this topic, a while ago I also posted some flower myself.
To good experts I would pose the following question.
What is the status of our most beautiful protected orchid - lady's slipper?
Habitats? Numbers?
In France they monitor these orchids for some years. They check habitats, count them, even prune trees to allow light for growth, so their number increased greatly. They discovered also completely yellow orchid, but those habitats they hide well from others, as unique and very rare.
I watched namely a documentary about forest queens.
Can someone answer my question?

I don't know if I have already seen habitats of lady's slippers in our literature. I know five habitats on Zelenica, and habitat on Jezersko and also there before Kranjska Gora. For example on Črna Prst it grew once, but no one has found it for a long time.

For such precious flowers like the lady's slipper their habitats are not publicly posted.

I didn't expect anyone to reveal the habitats of the most beautiful European orchid, but I'm just curious if we also care for them here like in France.
Maybe it will be clearer to botanists if any of them participates in this forum or section.

I asked because I find the topic interesting about this protected flower.
My intent wasn't cheering and liking, but a simple question. If someone knows the answer let them write it. If no expert then flower lovers post new pics.

Tomorrow I'm going on a trip to the Croatian side. We will visit the Kamčnik gorge-it's called a tributary of the Dobra river. We will also climb the easy hill Stožac. I'm really curious what is blooming here already.
Even more impatiently I'm waiting for the end of May, when I'm going for a week to Vis and Kornati. Here botanically I'm not really at home-will be interesting.
