Zvončica, your grasshopper is really very colorful and interesting. Don't know the species, since I haven't dealt with grasshoppers at all yet, but they interest me.

Majda, you spotted the stag beetle well.. Nowadays it's quite hard to see or encounter it. It's the great stag beetle or Lucanus cervus. The name "deer beetle" comes from its mandibles, which resemble deer antlers. It's of course a male, since females have very small mandibles.
Finally adding a butterfly that's staying right at our home, for several days in a row we find it in the morning on the wall in the basement. Today I asked around what it is and they say it's the cave pedic.

Thanks, Zlatica, it bothered me because it's such a red color. I've also seen the "little stag beetle", and Sorok posted it a bit higher. nasmeh

Zlatica, I admit I don't like horseflies much, this one was really colorful though. I like bumblebees, they are very dear to me. This one was really big. Lp

-- And a female stag beetle was waiting for me too, again on the road. Almost in the same spot as the stag beetle a few days ago. Probably from the same family. When I carried her to the roadside she took a defensive stance. Shame the road is all colorful from rain and can't be seen well. These beetles are interesting, hope they provided for offspring, as there won't be many soon..

Majda, nice nasmeh I carry snails off the road if I find one, but every now and then I have trouble. If the snail is turned "crooked", I take it in the direction it's facing. If it's on the road "in driving direction", then I don't know which side to take it, afraid I'll take it to the other side than it intended zmeden

I do the same, Bojan. If I'm in a dilemma, I take it where I think better survival conditions are..
