Where to go picking blueberries?

I was last year with my son and wife on Ribniško Pohorje.
We slept in Ribniška koča for 3 days.
We picked blueberries; there were a lot, a lot of them there, from Ribniška koča towards Kopa.
It was beautiful, super!!
I plan with the family to go this month again somewhere in Slovenia, and we would like some new place where there are also lots of blueberries...
What do you suggest?

I picked them on Saturday 1.8. at Ribniška hut. There are still some there, elsewhere in lower-lying areas none left. lp.

I'm interested if it's possible to go from Rogla to Ribniška koča by bike?
I know that in Croatia it's not allowed to go on some hiking trails with bikes.
I'm wondering if it's allowed there and on the Rogla - Ribniška koča route?

I'm planning to go to Ribniška koča on 25.08. Do you know if there are still blueberries then?

IF YOU WERE A REAL MOUNTAINEER AND NATURE LOVER YOU'D KNOW THAT YOU TAKE NOTHING FROM THE HILLS (EXCEPT THAT IN YOUR HEART). AND YOU LEAVE NOTHING THERE, OTHERWISE WITH MASSES OF VISITORS NATURE WOULD BE COMPLETELY TRASHED.

In my opinion, picking blueberries is not such a big sin that it should not be done. They regrow anyway. Different story if for sale!

With bikes on hiking trail not recommended, but not forbidden. There are also plenty of bike paths marked for cyclists, and maps can be found.
For blueberries it'll be quite late then, some might still be around. Now it's more time for whortleberries (matek).
More surprised by those who don't, than those who enjoy forest and meadow fruits.

A few years ago I was in Paklenica and paid dearly for entrance only after waiting half hour for all "other" foreigners to go by car ahead of me, had SL plate. Fair would be to charge entrance to all foreign forest fruit pickers too. That's my opinion, because many forest fruits are already dying out here (chanterelles etc.). Sorry but really don't know why anything can be done in our hills, think sometimes of forest owners too ??!!

Antik, by bike from Rogla to Pesek, then to Mašina žaga, continue 2 km towards Lovrenc na Pohorju, turn left and go past Jezerca, after some 100 m turn left and go to hut on Pesnik from where you then climb towards Ribniška koča. Whole trail marked as bike path.

On Saturday we went across the ski slope on Soriska planina to Možic. On the ski slope there are quite a few blueberries.

Anyone who wants to pick blueberries can come mid-June to Ivanščica, there are lots of them on the south-west slopes, but whether they bear fruit depends on the spring weather conditions, not on how many someone picks mirko4.

here where I know there used to be full of them I just don't pick many, because
problem is there simply aren't any, so I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this

This year unfortunately it was like that in many places...spring frost destroyed the whole crop in some spots. In our parts there were plenty, just tiny ones..
