Just one more - Is the Koča na Planini Ravne mountaineering or shepherd's or hunting or private hut? .. Where can you get drinks or something to eat there.. Last time it was closed..

Hut on Pl. Ravne is shepherd's hut. Drinks can be bought, don't know about food. It's open. regards

No food except sour milk, it's open when the "caretakers" aren't out on terrain. That was Thursday....

We were there, great weather and trip. From the ascent to Zelenica we saw a new tin shelter at the base. Does anyone know what it is? Full trip description and route maps on Photos, who wants to see CLICK HERE!

Beautiful picture of Grossglockner, the others are nice too. Small correction, Kocbek shelter and chapel are on Molička planina and not on Molička peč. Regards and safe steps to all from under the beautiful Golte, Janez

vespuci thanks for the explanation (puzzle solved) Janez, I used the word Molička peč after deliberation. All signs lead you to Molička peč, on maps it's of course different on each. Pictures inside the shelter that I viewed mention the shelter on Molička pl., the chapel on Molička peči. And I used that term only for the chapel. There was a debate here before, locals know best, peč means the cliff where the chapel stands. There are different explanations, and I expected a correction (not with bad intent). Anyway, Janez, thanks for the praise of the picture . It was really well visible.

The chapel is on Molička Peč. Molička planina is quite far away in the direction towards Polšek.

Ziki, calm down. Obviously you haven't been there yet. From the hut on planina Molička peč the chapel is about 50 m away. And you still claim that. That's all from my side, so we won't beat it endlessly again. Molička gora of course is part of Poljskih devic.

A lot has already been written about Molička peč. And it seems that not everything stated in written sources and maps matches the names used by the locals. For me, what the locals say is still "law". Ziki, were you the one who transported us by bus to Logarska dolina on Friday evenings years ago, or am I mistaken?

I was at both locations and I don't care about the confusion. It is important that I know the path and can return to this beautiful world anytime.

So you don't care what the locals say? I don't believe you'd be indifferent if anyone changed the name of your place and cited it in their forum posts.

Many things are not right. Maybe this too. Is it Ravne or Ravni?

Ravni, the owner named it long before any map. On Saturday I first heard a local say Planina POLŠEK for Planina Poljšak.
