Yesterday I was on the Babas, though from the Austrian side, and at the intersection of the easy and climbing path there was no warning anywhere that the path from Ledin is closed...

@robi14 thanks. Just checked at the hut about the path from Ledin. The path was really closed one day, and only 4 hours at that, so the path to Velika Baba from Ledin is open. velik nasmeh

I was yesterday on Velika Baba, approach to Ledin along Slovenska pot. At the entry to the climbing section of Slovenska pot there's still a small snow patch, but it causes no problems. Path from Ledin to V. Baba normally passable.

Yesterday on a wonderful day visited Velika Baba. To Ledin via Slovenska pot and as my predecessor mentioned, snow patch before entry into Slovenska smer no problem. From Ledin via climbing to Velika Baba. Except crumbly start, path super secured and real treat, especially vertical wall just below "bradavička" thrilled me. Most path climbed in shade, from "bradavička" sun warmed us properly. Top had some visitors, longer break with superb views, then to Ledinski vrh and back to hut. From there hunter's path to valley. Hunter's path newly done, hats off to guys who worked hard, path phenomenal. Day that fills soul and body nasmeh
