We too searched recently for the path above the hunting hut; it was well traceable for some time, then it completely disappears. We didn't find the clearing as tango wrote, and we too went straight up. The impression was that several people had already walked straight up. For us, the path along the Žlebnica stream was much nicer than via Železnica.

Karmen, for us too the approach along the Žlebnica stream is substantially nicer and definitely worth repeating, and we won't bother finding the right path since the gully ascent is quite OK.

the path through Blekova planina mentions one shorter, technically demanding section. I'll be glad for some information on what that section looks like ... Many thanks

Hi,
a few meters of steeper ascent, you can use your hands to help, it's also slightly exposed, but the passages are good enough and clear (I think there are small ledges for feet).
