To Tolminc's photos I would just add the info that the north side of Tolmin Kuk, Podrta gora etc. is still quite snowy.

Wise people seek within themselves, ordinary ones in others wrote CONFUCIUS. Yeah Thursday 20 May was a beautiful day. When the mountains breathe all those magical moments at you, which there were plenty of yesterday. Just to my taste. Although someone here marked me as viewless. It doesn't really matter. If I simplify, the views were divine yesterday, even though they have no connection to the previous sentence. We went from Tolminske Ravne to Planina Kal, where everything was still dry and spring could be felt. Further to the junction for Tol. Migovec and Tol. Kuk but we didn't know the conditions. Path known even in snow. But this year everything is different. We really didn't expect so much snow. And at the junction we decide for Migovec, although we had Kuk in mind. But since afternoon weather worsening was forecasted and clouds were already hinting in that direction we go through newly fallen snow to Migovec. We met hardly anyone. Only the noise of planes disturbed the peace yesterday.

@darinka4, read what @pikica1 wrote to you. This thought holds all the truth, which we have realized all too well in the last year.
I wish you both all the best and many beautiful moments in our wonderful mountains and hills!

I waited a bit to see if any of the brave ones would respond. Then I would add a personal thank you and apology. Thank you, Mrs. Darinka, for posting beautiful trips and pictures from your area. All hikers follow them regularly. And an apology from my side. I know that in this messed up thread I am the one who opened it, and the one who (for my own amusement) fanned it several times. Well, then I found a moment to look into myself, read the wisdom comments (drapr) and stop. I like to joke, and it seems it holds true. Many of us are very brave behind the keyboard and in anonymous arguments. Much less in sincerity, respect and due apology. Safe and happy travels to all on the paths. And let's shape a portal that will be joyful reading and idea hunting in our beautiful country. best, Andrej

That's how it looked yesterday from Vogla. Tolminski Kuk looks quite well snow-covered. Probably Migovec too.

(5.12.2024) Tolmin Ravne - Kal pasture. We decide on the continuation at the junction for Tolmin Kuk and Tolmin Migovec. The path to the pasture is dry. Otherwise everything is full of leaves. Snow patches start higher on the path from the pasture to the junction. Since it was soft, no winter gear was needed. We had enough time and decided to go see towards Kuk. It was windy the whole way. But when we reached the foot of Kuk, the wind became stronger. So we turned around and went to Migovec. Here the conditions were much better. The sun was warming. It was very pleasant on the summit, where we stayed about an hour. Peaks from Kuk to Vogel are clouding over. Only Krn range is without cover. Descent on the ascent path. Great tour. Just too little snow for December. The wind blew us thoroughly. Lowest temperature minus six degrees.
