Panoramik. PZS officially by law closed Tominšek due to above mentioned issues. So the path is closed and PIKA!!! If no closure above, inform the maintainer of this path PD Ljubljana-Matica to fix it immediately. Don't mislead people and lead them to stupidities.

Of course it's closed. Which one isn't closed, you can't repair any anymore. About PZS I won't waste more words, everyone knows what a nest it is there. You're meant for yourselves.

panoramik, from your post I see you're very knowledgeable and warm-hearted person and you'll solve the problem of damaged paths as a joke. Just refresh your memory: markacists are people who voluntarily in their free time repair paths that every year destroy weather, lightning, falling rocks, avalanches and I could list more. There aren't so many that you'd kick into bushes and markacists would fall out, but their number is declining, average age rising and they really want diligent and knowledgeable youth, every year they invite you to join. From your post I gleaned that you really want to join them, voluntarily help renew damaged and destroyed paths, in your free time or on vacation which you have plenty to use usefully. Look, they'll even fix your clothes. You won't need to run around the hills and get angry at such paths......you'll fix everything. Or am I wrong and it's all big mouth !!!

Ah and one more, in PZS there are over 10.000 km of hiking paths registered, you can choose which part you'll take care of......

@smatjaz, please don't be smart if you have no idea who you're dealing with, I know the truth hurts, but that's how it is. I myself recently hiked the Kanin saddle and due to erased markings set up over 50 cairns and also elsewhere where I think it's necessary, not only on pathless areas. Since there's no more Igor Zlodej there, everything has stalled and it's similar many other places. Pay the path markers honestly and it will be ok, there's plenty of money, they deserve it.

One question...I'm interested in the main differences of paths to Triglav namely the path through Plemenice, Tominškova and through Prag. Which path is the most technically demanding?

The path through Plemenice is the most demanding in all respects of those listed (and it is also the hardest marked path to Triglav). The path through Prag is the easiest (but from Kredarica onwards still not easy) of the paths. To Kredarica it has only one harder section. As for beauty, the order is exactly reversed

5Xum In my opinion the path through Prag is not the easiest. The technically easiest path is from Krma or Pokljuka to Planika. Further the Gorjanska path is the easiest, especially for vertigo sufferers.

@Lukito Of course, I agree. But my comment was a response to the question about the difficulty of the paths through Plemenice, Tominškova and through Prag. Among these three the path through Prag is the easiest.

@kawasaki Paths are quite different. Tominškova is the most direct, all the time tense or steep, technically medium demanding (perhaps on level of Hanzova on MM). Through Prag it drags to the junction with Tominškova, technically the easiest (one to two more demanding details), from Kredarica up more demanding (both have the same approach to the top). Through Plemenice to me is mixture of Krma and say Kopiščarjeva on Prisank. To Luknja warm-up, then cables, climbing and partially exposed, from exit to entry to shelter walk, then technically easier than from Kredarica.

Tominškova path is of course still closed.

Only on descent via Tominškova path there is no sign that the path is closed, on the path there is no support.

djimuzl Three weeks ago, our group of 4 friends went to Triglav through Luknja and returned via Tominškova, no warnings anywhere. Last week colleague did the same loop, descent via Tominškova normal. On Saturday we did Luknja-Prag loop, at Tominškova-Prag junction no sign of closure and below at big peg no warning. I must admit I also heard about closure, but no notices anywhere. Where did you read it's closed? Thanks

I would ask for information. What's the road to Krma like and can you get to the parking with a normal car?

Yes, you can, before the last meadow the road is quite rough but passable. Since they give fines, it's smart to park only near the sign where parking is marked.

Parking at the end near Lesi, lower near the trough (space for about 5 cars) and at Kovinarska hut. I saw yesterday cars parked in the forest, by the road, then near the trough on the meadow under the weekend house. With such parking I don't know why you are surprised at the fine. I was more surprised a few days ago when they reported the fine now amounts to 500 eur. A couple of years ago I saw it was one zero less.
