Absolutely true. Wild boar, lynx and stone marten are hard to surprise in the wild.

Thanks. Not sure it's a real wild boar though, farm 100m away and it could have escaped from there.

Politely disagree with the above; I recently photographed the Wild Sow myself on Gorjanci, she came to me herself and sniffed my backpack curiously. Don't know how that happens (someone feeds her?), but she seemed healthy and curious, even petted her a bit. Mr. Boar luckily nowhere near. nasmeh

With a friend we surprised him on the way to Krn a bit below the ferrata under the hunting lodge, don't know who was more surprised, just an uncomfortable moment..
