ljubitelj gora, are you joking? It is quite obvious (also by the admin's tolerance or intolerance) that the forum is mainly for everyone who reached some peaklet to write about it, say what they ate and drank, then general congrats for the magnificent tour and beautiful pics. Very little talk about conditions. Hats off to those who say something useful to others. Redbull is among them, even if he boasts a lot.

Food and drink are very important in the hills. As is rest in the grass, because without it most accidents happen on descent due to fatigue.

I don't understand why redbull's writing bothers you so much. Even if it bothers you, just don't read and we who are interested can read and see pics.

Thanks redbull for your contributions, hope primitive comments don't deter you from future reports.

Good luck!

redbull - oh I know well how the weather was... I was on the way to Grintovec and I was breaking trail to the hut... - at Jame we turned back together with GRS... if you had been with us, only you would have continued the path. Am I wrong? So don't bullshit me pointlessly.

Don't bullshit, where there's a thunderstorm the sun can shine a kilometer away. If some behind me wanted up, I don't know what you're trumpeting. I don't dare burden anyone, you're all-knowing and burden everyone. Keep going, at least after work I'll have something to read, nice writing

It can be just a one-minute storm, then the sun 100 times after. The mountain will wait, but the hiker or mountaineer is gone.zmeden
Otherwise I'm curious about the state of the pegs on Skuta? Which are missing, do they wobble? How followable is the path over Žmavčarje?

The path is super followable, even painted with red lines although it shouldn't be done.

Good luck

Domch the path is fine, last week they removed the bivouac but I don't know maybe a new one is up already, only from the bivouac to the cross path from Turska gora to the entry into Skuta wall is poorly followable, but cairns are placed and don't follow the first cross path because it goes to Kokrško, but the second one velik nasmeh

Oh redbull you're totally ok, just way too cocky, I'm a bit better in condition than you, but not too much. And eh, I'd beat you if I had a bottle of water, you'd only get it slowly

The path is well cairned, in places, especially from the middle onwards, it's even marked.

Let's drop that writing about conditions on Skuta. You better write me on PM what's bugging you, big stuff anyway I can't help. Weird that your female colleagues haven't woken up with Lizko on their minds.

I think we have way bigger problems than begged water or Dejan's run. Not mentioning the tasteless comments in his accident topic. Some really enjoy others' suffering. Those will get what they deserve too.

There aren't that many like that on the forum as someone might think. They just use multiple usernames to give multiple + to their sick comments, but it's a couple of psychos betrayed by their writing style. Their contribution to the forum = 0, they insult everyone in sight. I've already suggested checking duplicate usernames, but nothing.

Actually I posted the question under the Grintovec route description, but to slightly change the last topic herenasmeh I'm asking a question that someone among you who often visits these parts can surely answer (I'm more at home in the Julian Alps)nasmeh

My question is, by how much does the route extend if from Skuta I continue via Mlinarsko sedlo to Grintovec (and from Skuta I don't descend directly via Veliki podi past the bivouac to Kokrsko sedlo) and then to Kokrsko sedlo? Approximately how much is it from the junction towards Veliki podi to Grintovec?

Mlinarsko sedlo - Grintovec 1 hour; descent from Grintovec to Kokrsko sedlo approx 1.30 hours - normal pace.

pohodnik382. 08. 2015 22:23:22
If you descend from Skuta to Velike pode and don't go over Dolgi hrbet it's 1.30 to the junction, from there to the top of Grintovec 1.50.

Best regards! Tone cool
