10 eur toll, if you change your mind and rather go on foot from Fužina, parking below for whole day 8 eur mežikanje

I.e. if going for multiple days, pay in valley "ecological" 8 eur x number of days, or drive up and pay 10 eur for unlimited days.zavijanje z očmi

Yes, and that's before 6am. And return after 20h back. At least that's my August experience, when we didn't pay a centnasmeh...to our surprise.

I don't know why it always bothers me when someone gives instructions how to avoid payment. More sensible would be to debate if payment is appropriate and for what purpose the funds are used. I don't mind at all paying for parking or say entrance to Logar Valley. What bothers me more is not knowing where the money goes. If used for upkeep and development of these places and high alpine farms, nothing wrong with that.
After all every weekend we fill natural environment with sheet metal and wonder how we'd act if it was our yard. People living in these hilly places whose roads we often ruin for free also pay steep parking in cities.

I agree, I can say the road to Planina Blato is quite well maintained and I don't mind paying 10 euros, but it's true if all money goes to the right hands.

Well, to me it seems completely inappropriate that long-term parking in valley (so mountain not burdened with cars) costs substantially more than parking on the alpine pasture itself.

Toll isn't expensive at all. In Austria on Kolnbrein it's 17 € and nobody complains. Road Stara Fužina Blato well maintained and now mostly asphalted, so money goes to road. Also in valley at Ribčev Laz parking free. True 20 min more walking than from toll point. So 1 passenger in car saves 8 or 10 eur, more passengers less per head. If 4 driving it's 2.5 eur per head. When going for "coffee" or "party" no whining.

Well-maintained asphalted parking at Ribčev Laz not free. Comparing Kolnbrein to Planina Blato is ... - extremely scenic two-lane asphalted road full length (except tunnels one-lane regulated by lights) with large maintained parking, accompanying activities and very good info brochure vs poorly laid asphalt on ordinary forest road with very poor and dangerous passing spots, unregulated "parking" without anything - don't kid, no.

Of course no whining when going for beer, swallow the 10 euros here too. But when you know nowhere in Trenta they charge, and in Vrata 3x cheaper for better road and views, this Blato is plain robbery. If they'd at least make decent road, but no, excellent profit for local road company that does work way below average and probably much more expensive than should. Bohinj/Bled logic - hit the tourist hard.

10 eur is too much. Supposed to go for asphalt to the parking at Planina Blato. Money anyway never goes to the "right" hands. Still I'll go up and pay, cuz I don't plan to go on foot from home, just like surely none of you do, when you so like to criticize how far who drives, as if you'd yourselves most like to go on foot from home.

Parking fee, 10€. Pointless debate in my view. Don't know why always just whining, when we all know everyone would love to drive right to Triglav itself if possible. Just check posts on this forum. Bunch of questions: how far can you drive by car. And we're mountaineers, yeah....worth thinking. Pay up or stay home. You got public transport too, so those 10€ stay for beer. velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh

Oh, there are many other options.

You can go to your goal from another starting point where you can park for free (almost all goals reachable from Planina Blato - at least from parking at Savica where it's only 3 EUR).

Or park for free and bike to the start. Even if not MTB, possible in most cases (nice example Logarska Dolina, where before the barrier there's even free parking arranged).

Or get up a bit earlier and arrive before they start collecting.

Where no physical barrier, you can ignore the collector. As far as I know on private parking wardens have no authority.

Anyway endless ways to avoid...

Where parking money goes is really pointless to discuss. Only naive still think for road repairs, hut maintenance, parking arrangements, trails... in short common good like old times. Good morning!

There are plenty starting points where parking is free and you still reach the goal same as starting from Blato, I went up late autumn several times when no more parking collector, otherwise I like lower starts cuz I'm fast anyway.

Well 10 isn't much if you think how much time you save yeah I also like lower starts and longer hikes but with kids it's different. If alone I'd surely go from center.

Since when do I go to Šmarna except I went some two months ago via climbing path, otherwise only 3x in 10 years, if we meet it'll be north sides of range.

EDIT: Juš A. you read every comment of mine which you then quote via ZS.

Hi, if anyone knows - how many minutes walk from Rjavo Lake to Mlaka in Lašte (never mind if it's dried or frozen), and then from that Mlaka to Lake below Vršac? Thanks.

The Triglav Seven Lakes was our goal this week. We drive along the valley to Trenta to the Zadnjica starting point. Our path continues towards the Zasavska Hut at Prehodavci over Zadnjiški Dol. At the saddle Čez Dol we join the mulatjera and after 2 hours we are at Prehodavci. We overnight at the Zasavska Hut and the next day at 6 degrees and wind we head to the hut at the Triglav Lakes. On the path through the Triglav Lakes valley we admire the lakes and surrounding peaks. We listen to the Marmots, which pose photogenically for us along the path. At the hut we turn back and leave the last Black Lake for the next tour via Komna or Komarča. We return by the same path back over Prehodavci to the Trenta valley.
