Yesterday I also went to Porezen from Petrov Brdo, descended to Podbrdo. Both paths are normally passable.
Thanks again to the locals who drove me from Podbrdo back to Petrov Brdo.
Thanks also to Kokta who caught me on the first photo.
Otherwise yesterday was a special day for the newlyweds from Germany (77855 Achern), as I found their wedding balloon. The balloon is already prepared to return.
Best, Tadej

While I was around these parts anyway, I had enough time, so I went to check Porezen. The ultra trail is marked in several places already. The trail itself was quite slippery due to rain Best.

Yesterday from Davča to the top, on the whole path we had all kinds of weathermrk pogled, luckily survived a short thunderstorm in the hutjezik.
At the end we went to see Franja Hospital.
when we started the summit was in the clouds1
when we stepped out of the forest it started to blow2
no rain yet to the road3
light rain for a moment4
due to fog we barely noticed animals by the road5
the worsening weather did not bother them much6
quickly to the hut because now it will pour7
after short thunderstorm it cleared a bit so could see even to Črne prsti8

On Porezen today, in the sun and light wind, wonderful. Path dry, muddy in parts, only from the summit to the hut caution needed - frozen snow and ice.

Yesterday ascended to Porezen from Jesenice. Whole path normally passable, only upper part on frozen rocks needs more caution. Almost no snow.

@miri, ever counted them? I counted 8, maybe there's an old cart track more.

Has anyone been to Porezen in the last few days, maybe over the weekend? How much snow is there? Is it passable - from Cerkno, from Franja hospital and from Zakojca?

Today to Porezen from Petrov Brdo. Drove on the asphalt road to the last farm. In the forest it looked like no fog and wind. But when I reached the ridge, I found myself in fog and wind. Snow starts here too. The path is a bit icy - at least for the descent I recommend small crampons. Suddenly in this fog I found myself at the hut. The hut is open. The caretakers kindly served me. Since I was already here, I climbed to the summit. From the hut to the summit it's completely icy. Strong wind was blowing, in the fog I could hardly see anything. Quickly took a foggy photo and returned to the hut to warm up.
End of the asphalt. The farm is large. It seems the owners do not live here permanently.1
The path through the forest is dry.2
But when we reach the ridge, there is snow and fog.3
Huge structure of the Rupnik Line - the building is completely preserved.4
Right in front of the hut.5
I can barely see the hut.6
It's warm inside. Unfortunately I only realized later that the camera was completely frosted over, but still you can see that it's quite nice in the hut.7

The path from Jurež was nicely passable, quite a lot of snow but it didn't sink excessively. The sun was shining, on the summit wind as usual. Quite a few people, as the 41st winter hike to Porezen on the 71st anniversary of the battle against the occupier was taking place.
