Planned removal of Aljaž Tower from Triglav

Elections are supposed to be next year, of course it would be much better and above all more honorable if president Ekar together with the presidency had resigned yesterday. The stain of attempting to desecrate the greatest symbol, he won't be able to wash off until death and against this the PZS presidency didn't draw any line, I think they all deserve to be dealt with at the PZS honor court.

Ekar has done more damage to PZS than all this year's avalanches combined. His mandate apparently expires sometime in April. However, I'm afraid that for now there isn't even a rival candidate for his position in sight!!! I don't dare think that he would be succeeded by e.g. vice-president Vidovič, in that case it's even better that Ekar stays on.

Even at PZS bigwigs of political ilk have joined, who have absolutely no connection with the mission of the mountains. For them interesting are only boozing in mountain huts and celebrations, monetary profits of the organization and as little investment of funds as possible, into the development of mountaineering and alpinism in our mountains.

Here I spotted that they published an official report on the condition of the Aljaž Tower report on the tower

A colleague told me she read somewhere that they moved the Aljaž Tower to the museum. Wasn't it decided that it would stay where it is? A few years ago they already removed that legendary stove on which we could stamp logbooks and no one said anything before

Yes, an April Fool's joke which is also published on gore-ljudje. Yesterday it rained a lot, on Triglav it was snowing, so removing the Aljaž Tower as written with helicopter Franc Savenc wasn't possible. I'm convinced of that.

It wouldn't surprise me, elections are right around the corner and maybe this is the last chance for this crew to carry out their ideas.

Dear friends, mountaineers of Slovenia, I thought only in our Croatia there are crazy politicians, but I see the whole world is immune to reason! First time on Triglav in 1969 and the Aljaž Tower has followed me my whole life. Synonym (if you allow me to say) of Slovenia is Triglav and its tower. And if Jalovec is for me the most beautiful Slovenian mountain, Triglav is something that in my area falls into "matura work". From the distant 60s to today it is the mountain we go to with pride! Do not allow sacrilege!

Yes next week on anniversary of installation Because many don't know that in winter and even in between it snows on Triglav, and that last winter lots of snow fell which, like previous winters, covered Aljaž Tower, and the anchor cable carrier broke under snow weight. Obviously owner of cultural monument won't wake up for next 100 years and need to take action again, know who .

Of course we know WHO! But the call to preserve the Cultural Monument should also apply to its visitors. The traces on its roof are not from snow, but from "tired" visitors who were higher than Očak and lean their tired legs, "shod" with crampons, on it - SAD!

Now solid enough again that "monkeys" can hang on it and climb to its top!

They should mount similar spikes on the roof like those for pigeons at railway stations.
