Tone, then please mark on the first pic where Lučka Brana(Baba) is. I was obviously greatly mistaken because I thought Lučka Baba and Lučka Brana(Baba) were the same summit. Thanks!

Mmmhhh, Janez, I'm joining in. On the KSA 1:25000 map by Sidarta these summits are drawn differently. According to this, Tone is more right nasmeh

Ha ha, Polona, I've gone with that intention three times. First fog drove me away, second time I had a bad altimeter, this year I used 'Locus Map' which rarely misses. I've been watching this hill (Planjava) from the balcony for half my life and when Vilice started appearing on maps and the net, I got serious too.
Of course nothing against Janez, since almost every map has different data, so he refers to his own. On the old map (Grintovci) the term Vilice defines the area between the two highest peaks of Planjava, points 2344 and 2335 are unnamed. Those are of course the western and eastern peak of Vilice. Many also think Škarje are the rocky chunks between Planjava and Ojstrica, but it's the saddle, notch (lowest point) between the two mountains.
So. Everyone can interpret it their own way, since until there are uniform markings, names and heights, there will be misunderstandings among mountaineers.
With the exception of one possible III you can nicely traverse the whole ridge. Over Presedljaj and Korošica to Škarje, then west along the whole ridge to the western peak of Planjava, from there descend to Sukavnik and Kamniško sedlo. Try it, excellent tour!

The route description to Lučka Brana (Baba) is also interesting. The peak on picture 43 is marked on the map as Lučka Baba 2335 and not Lučka Brana (Baba) 2244. The description needs to be corrected or the map replaced so that the pictures match the route description and the attached map. mežikanje

Tone, I think this tour you're suggesting is quite a tough nut, at least for one day. Well, never say never mežikanje

Anyway, we found the "real" Baba velik nasmeh

Janez, for me too the description and pictures and then the actual situation on the ground didn't match, so I didn't even know if I was on the right peak mežikanje

Polona, it is much shorter from Logarska dolina from Dom Planincev past the hut at Klemenča jama to Škarje. Descent over Kamniško sedlo and Okrešelj to Logarski kot. Thumbs up there and by car to the start.
Super picture, @panoramik. You can see it's taken from the 'wrong' peak, which is almost in a straight line with Ojstrica. The peaks of Lučka Brana and Krofička are in a straight line.

I'd like to warn that the rockfall in the north wall of Lučka Brana is still very active and there are rock blocks at the top of the break just waiting to thunder down. If you're heading on the Klemenča Jama - Škarje path, it's good to be aware of this danger.

The rockfall is still active, but the path can be bypassed a bit and safely avoided.
The whole path is also dry now (one snow patch), no winter gear needed.

Work weeks are long and tiring, from Friday to Saturday, weekend practically doesn't exist for me anymore, and it's hard to get to the mountains. Yesterday I forced myself and went to Lučka Baba to recharge batteries. Path from Dom planincev via Škarje is normally passable, only the last ascent to baba is a bit damaged due to storm, so caution needed not to trigger stones and not to slip.

On Saturday, a somewhat longer tour was completed, from Razpotje in Logarska dolina to Koča na Klemenči jami and via Kopinškova to Ojstrica. Locally overgrown, otherwise without peculiarities. From Ojstrica, descent to saddle Škarje and then along the marked path to Planjava. In between, visit to all peaks that follow on the Locus map like this: Škarje, Lučka Brana (Baba), Lučka Baba, Vilice. Jump also to the neighboring western peak of Planjava. Descent to Srebrno sedlo, then to Najvišji rob and to a deserved radler at Kockbek. From there again to saddle Škarje and descent to Logarska. Quite a tedious path from the saddle to the valley.

Conditions dry, on the entire path only two small snow patches, which present no problems. Korošica hut open only on weekends. They had strudel, excellent.
