Razdrto-Nanos-Vipava, that was my yesterday's hike.
Despite the forecasted clear skies, the day started with a quite cloudy morning. At 9.00 in Vipava it was blowing over 90 km/h. How it was howling 1,000 meters higher, I'd rather not think about it. Just below the Pleše summit it was almost sweeping people away at times. In the wild bora I continued along the ridge and climbed Grmada in between, where I barely held myself on my feet. With the descent towards the Vojkovo hunting hut the wind slowly lost its power, lower with the strong sun a real spring splendor. From the hunting hut I continued on the mountain path towards Podnanos and at the gorges turned towards Sv. Miklavž (St. Nicholas). From the little church I descended to Gradišče pri Vipavi and then to Vipava, where I caught the bus for the return home.
When we reach Pleše, ahead of us there is only a nice and easy hiking path, which mostly descends. The walking takes about 5-6 hours (1 hour more on the gentle path from Razdrto). With breaks I needed 7.5 hours. Those who would drive to the starting point by car can return to Razdrto by bus. Detailed description and timetable under the photographs.
Despite the lack of views, a beautiful day in the wild beauties of the roaring wind. It's been a long time since I experienced such a primal contact with nature.

SuzanaM, wonderful hike and wonderful photos. If I'd known earlier, I would have invited you for coffee, since I'm from Vipava  . Next time! You must be a Primorka too if you defied the bora on Nanos yesterday and weren't blown away!

Today I climbed the Gradiška tour. A bit windy, and there wasn't that clarity I'm used to. I met a few hikers, a little for this time.

Mirjam, thanks. You're right, burja is also at home here, although on its path it already loses some of its royal power.
Otherwise, it was quite busy on Nanos on Saturday. It's true that except for a boy with a kite and me who was photographing, no one else particularly exposed themselves to the wind. To Grmada even in nicer weather rarely anyone turns.

No snow on the path anymore, only some left around the hut. Wind is blowing and blowing... Otherwise wonderful weather, just right for a relaxed Saturday hop to Nanos

I missed that winter idyll by one day... You can't believe how it changes in one day. Today everything is already green and in bloom... Just one patch of snow under the antennas.

We were on Nanos yesterday. We had connections and the sun was somewhat saving energy. We'd be happy with an open hut, but we had a good time even with it closed. The path is nice and without special features and we'll come again.

After a long time (since the new tenant) I was at the hut on Sunday. And what do I experience, complete surprise. I expected something new but nothing. So many bad words were said about the previous tenant Mrs. Anica that she does nothing for the hut I thought now everything would be bright but things are even worse. Toilets locked, you have to go get the key at the bar and even that the new tenant yells at you that you have to be a hut guest first if you want to use the toilet. When you open the toilet same as before except now the toilets not only stink but are also neglected and all dirty. In the first dining room everything the same although such big changes were promised. About the other larger room no need to talk. On the door a note renovating hangs since the new tenant took over but when you open the door another shock the dining room is in such bad condition that I wouldn't eat inside even if they pay me. All black without curtains all scratched and it stands like that. Offer in the hut compared to the previous tenant Mrs. Anica's offer very sad despite small visit in the hut you wait 15 minutes for service and another 15 to bring food but about the taste of food no comment I mean was that ričet. When I asked if they maybe have pie with forest fruits because I liked it a lot I get answer that it's not authentic Slovenian dish then offers me desserts among them also baklava I mean that's authentic dish. About prices no comment I see they have risen quite a bit. No friendliness. Keeps complaining no guests like this there won't be. Keeps talking about previous tenants but herself does nothing 7 good months already on Nanos and nothing done. Also in front of the hut and around it nothing changed all as before. I'm wondering where is that vision the new tenant talked so much about on TV so much will change she is a cook she has vision but sadly only in her head because nothing changed quite the opposite worse. Where are now the Postojna big shots dear president Miran his right hand Sandi wonderful photographer Marija and their followers who so happily posed in front of cameras how they will change everything. Looks like when cameras left they did too. One can pose in front of camera and promise castles but need to do something in that direction too. As I said hundred times they are all just performers and just look for opportunity to be talked about. Where are you now all you who criticized Mrs. Anica so much but don't have enough courage to speak. As I mentioned once when Mrs. Anica leaves we'll miss her and it is so most old Nanos visitors I met that day think the same they also don't go to the hut anymore. Anica wherever you are now warm greetings and all the best.

Liliput damn you're a worldly woman.....first of all, if this new manager hasn't done anything at least she hasn't destroyed anything like your greedy Anica. Tell when your Anica cleaned the gutters, when she cleaned the well (find out how much the well renovation cost because you didn't notice anything new), gas stoves which your Anica left completely worn out, destroyed central benches outside....now the dining room is being renovated. And you lady blind hen noticed nothing. Regarding food prices they are exactly the same...(checked.) And if your Anica in all years did at least as much as the new manager in a couple months, she would surely still be there. Also the electricity she owes the tower you'd overlook  .I don't even know where the society gets money if any. Anica didn't pay rent. In the end I just tell you if something doesn't suit you, just don't come back, but if you want to annoy someone like you do you write a lot and brew nonsense for three days.

Don't be too smart about what anyone did. PD Postojna does nothing since without a euro nothing gets done. It took more than a year to bring paint to Mladika. They brought it because they heard criticisms on this forum. Painting the paint for the benches.., regarding the new tenant it's the same. Food isn't any better, quite the opposite if you voice well-meaning criticism they get deeply offended. Ah I'm on Nanos several times a week, so no need to sell me bullshit. We'll see how the hut does when it's open in snowy months.

Anyway as a mountaineer I care about people's friendliness and tasty food, the rest is sanitary insp. For gutters probably the janitor, not the cook.

kos, why dumb? If you already tackle such writing like liliput, then write properly. With punctuation and all that belongs. Otherwise it's just another ordinary mess without meaning. Given that you registered on this portal because of these posts, it's obviously a pity that you did. Or you're just another in the line who will only litter.
