After yesterday's Bovški gamsovec, Todi's better half decided to go via hanzova to Little Mojstrovka. I was a bit worried since she had never climbed before. I was pleasantly surprised since there were no problems on the path. At the summit it was cold and windy, but even the fog couldn't spoil the satisfaction that there were no problems on the path. Down via scree, where it also went without problems. A bit more sun and the tour would be as it should. But since Jasna wouldn't be Jasna, we stopped at Jasna too.

Today on Mali Mojstrovka. Towards the top there was very dense fog, wind and cold. Snow about 10 to 15 cm, which doesn't pose a major obstacle (tomorrow might be different already). But it was nice anyway. Very few hikers. Best regards

Today's day... slept under Vršič (yeah, a couple of minus degrees), hehe, MM was the only logical choice, although already the beginning towards the saddle served up the first snow, some iciness and deep breaths, so the ascent was accompanied by more silence than usual, hehe
the weather was foggy of course, at the summit a bit of clarity and then careful descent to the valley for deserved snack.
winter is here, snow has fallen, more probably tonight, yuhu
of course all winter gear with us, but we didn't need it, caution is needed due to slipping.

Even our highest one showed up for a short time

On Dejan's initiative, we set off early today to both Mojstrovkas, up via Hanzova. Weather today incredibly beautiful, without wind, views all around, simply it would be a shame to miss it today,... nasmeh

Today we ascended via Šitna glava to M.Mojstrovka, descended via the usual southern path.
Path without peculiarities, quite some visitors, weather purely summery.

On Thursday I did the ascent via Hanzova to MM, from there still to Velika Mojstrovka and then down the southern path. Path OK, dry and rocky at least as far as the secured part is concerned. In the upper part some patches of icy snow, which can be bypassed so no problems. View and sunny weather great, a bit windy on summit, few visitors. Ascent still to Velika Mojstrovka also there some patches of frozen snow, up without problems, on descent one part to watch, here I used mini crampons, but also without with a bit of gymnastics left mežikanje

. Parking at Vršič still collected (3 euros).

That group is heading to Slemenova špica.

The view gets better - from Špika to Dolkova špica, in front Šitna glava.

The most attractive part of Hanzova pot are the ledges to the left and then back to the right.

The view reaches to Veliki klek, in front Visoka Rateška Ponca.

Yesterday no parking fees were collected. I went via Šitno g. Indeed in the upper part of Hanzova some ice, where greater caution is needed! On descent to the south side nowhere icy.

Hi! Has anyone visited M. Mojstrovka these days? Interested in ascent via south path - what's the snow situation? Is the gully pretty iced over?

29.12.2015 We went up Hanzova. Rock in chimneys is mostly quite dry, just some snow in a couple places. On slabs mostly snowy, but path well trodden. Recommended ice axe and crampons. We didn't need ice axe except one spot. Crampons can be those small rubber ones from Veriga. Don't forget self-belay kit and helmet. Makes sense to have gloves for cables.

Me too with buddy 29.12 via Hanzova to little M., then to big, towards last M. and over big Dnina to screes under little... nice, conditions as dilca described. Crampons stayed in backpack, no self-belay kit cuz initially planned up over, Head above shit...
