Today up there huge crowd, some of us extended also to Tolsti vrh.

Today we went the gentle one, in last part of path before hut path icy. Saw three falls that luckily ended without injuries. Mini crampons highly recommended.
At hut lots of people and phenomenal views. cheers

...was again strolling our wonderful hills. Today was with my best friend on Tolsti vrh. well, hikers up there huge number, probably had awards for most dedicated visitors of Kriška gora and general meeting, or what...! Otherwise today wonderful day in hills, at least till 14. Valley fog, gray gloom.

Today went to Kriška gora from Golnik. Really park right at hospital lot and right above hospital turn to forest. Be careful, right after hospital signpost turn left and right after house right to narrow passage leading to upper asphalt road, cross it and to forest. Path nicely leads to Gozd village. Really takes no more than hour. I missed after hospital went to village end. When realized path ends went back and at first forest path turned right soon to marked path. Then forest path, winter dangerous due to avalanches - not marked. At hayfield turned to hunter path which hunters forbid, then cargo cable path, not quite ok. Weather sourish but hut lots visitors. Back on marked path. Met whole column of girls. View of lively girls rejuvenates me. Always like to go to Kriška, last time this winter winter hike.

On Thursday, July 21, 2011 ascended from Tržič to Kriška gora (1471 m). Weather more April-like but had luck, on way to summit just few rain drops, sun also plenty so nice trip  . Not many hikers, on path to summit met no one, at top in hut just three. After snack (sour milk and herbal tea, yummy), slowly headed to valley.
