We were with a colleague already at Kredarica on Tuesday, so at least for skiers, as I read in a post about yesterday's tour on Snežnik, snow conditions are already less friendly (read: more bare ground). With the car you still can't go much beyond Kovinarska koča. By the way, for a couple of days in Vrata you can get at least to the junction for Cmir.
We started skiing at half past four, which turned out to be a good choice for this warm day, because the southern snow had just started freezing in the top millimeters and was consequently really fast (at least for southern snow).
As a curiosity, except in the 200 m from the shepherd's hut (Prgarca) to a bit below Mali polje we skied elsewhere than we ascended.

On Wednesday again to Kredarica, this time up from Krma and down behind Cmir. Overnight fallen snow mostly transformed from powder into other less pleasant forms during the day. True though, we started skiing from Kredarica (2541 m) only at half past five, because it clouded over and fogged up early afternoon and only then improved.
In the hut a lit fireplace surprised us, so it was nicely warm!
For ascent conditions were good also on foot, actually probably better than for skiers.

Hi, wondering if the road to Krma is drivable by car? Or do you recommend the path through Kot instead?

Road to Krma drivable to the end of the meadow before Kovinarsko (last week), this week maybe already to the lower parking at the basin. Road is somewhat damaged after winter, so need to watch at a few spots not to hit the undercarriage. Tour to Kredarica from Kot in winter conditions is completely different category than the classic from Krma.

We ask the owner of the sheep grazing around the hut at Kredarica to clean up the sheep droppings in the chapel of Our Lady of the Snow and ensure it doesn't happen again in the future.

And a bit more seriously - teach sheep to distinguish between sacred and secular places for shitting
And really seriously: a fence installation will be needed, who bears the costs is (I believe) a matter of agreement.
