As for that "training", I'll say just two things:
First (from memory, might have mixed something up, apologies if so), I think Jani Bele once explained how even his wife got an ankle fracture on one of those icy promenades where "those who know don't need crampons". She's surely not someone you could accuse of ignorance or inexperience. Such accidents happen to everyone and are completely unnecessary. Risk on difficult sections is accepted. But risk on sections that are just a formality on the tour serves no purpose.
Second - said recently, didn't mix up - mountain rescuers also said that micro-crampons are very practical, as they greatly ease carrying stretchers on icy paths - where walking with big crampons would be too strenuous, without them too slippery.
I think from this we can surely say that micro-crampons aren't just for incompetents, but useful for everyone.

Usually those who oppose micro-crampons most are those who don't have them or haven't used them yet. They're very useful for mid-mountains. E.g. Kriška gora, Dobrča etc. Much safer than walking icy paths without. On Komna practically everyone uses micro-crampons. Clearly not suitable for high-mountain steep slopes. No harm in taking micro-crampons, crampons, poles and ice axe, then you're safe... From photos, I think you can get to Kamniški Dedec without issues with micros. To Kamniško sedlo 100%.

With micro-crampons you get up nicely without problems, almost no snow. In the morning a few snow patches on the steep section from the hut upwards were icy, but well trodden with steps made. If more snow, wouldn't go without normal crampons.

The path is almost entirely bare. Snowy sections were softened today, could reach the summit safely without crampons.

Despite not the best forecast, we went up there today with a buddy.
No special features on the path, in the valley and at the beer we were still before the rain

The day before yesterday (Sunday, Oct 18) past the hunting hut to the top of Kamniški Dedec, then back and along the nice hunting path under Zeleniški špice to Repov kot and on to the pools.
The day that promised in the morning turned cloudy gray, but on top it was still interesting and the pools are always great. A few dozen meters below the hunting hut towards Srebrno sedlo a cross path branches off, which after less than a km across Sedelščka gully leads to the path through Repov kot. At one or two places secured with thin cable, in dry and not icy conditions no problems there. Around Dedec we met at least twenty visitors, under the pools of Repov kot, which used to be more secluded, just a few less. As seen from the path to the top, lots of people at Kamniško sedlo.
The entire route was completely dry.

These days quite warm, crampons not needed. From tomorrow cooling, freezing probably above 1200m. I wouldn't go without crampons (classic ones).
