Today Grintovec in beautiful, almost too hot weather nicely reachable without crampons. A bit larger snow patch under the summit could be easily avoided. As for the visit, quite a few mountain runners. Hut at Kokrško open.

Yesterday, Saturday 22., colleague went towards Suhadolnik and says thunderstorm washed away the road. To Suhadolnik only on foot then. Otherwise road should be repaired soon... On 13.6. still all ok. Streha, up under summit, was already then snow-free on path. 10 degrees, below 33. Like from fridge to oven.

The path is repaired and restored only in some places right below the hut; there's still a bit to repair, otherwise all is OK.

On the path from Češka hut towards Grintovec I found today a first aid kit such as climbers carry with them on tours. Probably lost by someone climbing Grintovčev pillar, as it was on the scree a bit below the entry to the route. If anyone misses it, contact me.

We were 2 weeks ago (06.07.) along the old path to Cojzova hut and everything was ok. Road to parking under the farm was passable (at 2-3 places slightly damaged but all fine and drivable with normal car).

This morning I was up in poor conditions. To the top I carried dry clothes to change - next Sunday the last running race to Grint is happening organized by Dušan Papež.
The road is super, the only nuisance is a weird sign at the start . Grass along the trail is already nicely mowed, also some wood prepared for making steps. Nice sunny day, practically no visitors, except a small group of young foreigners cooking in front of the hut...
From the summit box I clean half a kilo of trash, change, munch a bit, snap some pics, store clothes under the rock and back to the valley.
Ugh, how I hate in mountain huts lukewarm unsweetened tea in a three-quarters-filled small pot .

Today to Grintovec from Suhadolnik.
The road to the parking lot is good, except as written above somewhere some holes, but slowly you get past all without problems.
At the parking lot one German van, Czech car and tent next to it.
The path a bit further from Suhadolnik, when it turns left into the forest, is largely destroyed so newly marked, in the dark a bit harder to follow everything, but since you know you have to go through the forest up to the road, no problem if not exactly on the markings.
The path over Taško is still closed, which is also visible at the top of the path, completely destroyed. The old path without special features, likewise the path to the summit.
Today the path from Cojzova hut to the summit was marked with yellow tape because tomorrow there is a race to Grintovec.

If you go only to Kralj then you can park right in K.Bistrica, so you don't get home too early
