A wander on the Dleskovec plateau
Now is the time of green larches, yellow needles have long fallen off. The pasture is deserted in the morning, we seem to be the only guests. In the cirque it is already pleasantly warm and clothes change (actually the whole tour). We scramble past the "phallic" rock sculpture, seeking good passages, it is going well for us. On the Long Meadows the west wind cools us, we hurry on.
For a while on the marked trail, then our own to the summit (Dleskovec 1965m asl). Then again on hidden paths to Zelenica, Veliki vrh. The weather serves us well.
We descend the gully and continue on the marked trail. We visit Smrekovec 1611m asl and return to the start. Smoke is coming from the shepherd hut chimney. Livestock comes to the pasture on Saturday and the hut will be open for hikers from then on. cool

don't know what to write after delicate tour. Took few pics too. Tried to absorb knowledge. Something stays in head nasmeh

Dleskovec 12.11.2023

We parked above Planinšek where the marked path from Luče crosses the road, and headed up the hill. The path from Planinšek to Vodole pasture is wonderful, well marked but a bit forgotten, which gives it special charm. Here and there you have to be careful to follow it properly. At Vodole we intended to find the hunting path that leads to Jezerca pasture. We hit the path and followed it nicely. Before exiting to Jezerca there are two variants. One leads directly to the pasture, the other a bit higher to the trail that ascends from Jezerca pasture towards Dolge Trate. We missed the one that leads exactly to the pasture, so we descended slightly to the pasture. From Jezerca we continued upwards and ascended to the unnamed peak that rises above Dolga Trata. I have been here once with Eva. From the peak we descended to the meadows and via the left southern variant to Dleskovec. There was snow here 20 to 30cm, in drifts up to the knees. At the summit of Dleskovec it was windy, clouds and mists on one side, clear sky on the other. Nice! We hear and see two on Veliki vrh. Someone yodels, we yodel back! Janez plays a really fine homemade alpine tune over the phone, both dance and enjoy! After the party we descend to Dolga Trata, from where we descend briefly on the marked trail towards Ravne, then catch the hunting path by which we descend below Brunašnica. From there only a pleasant descent on the same path we took in the morning separates us from Planinšek. Great trip!
