Marin, I strongly advise against this night ascent, mountains and nature are beautiful during the day!!!

With sufficient experience, I suggest night ascents only on paths you know well beforehand. For starters, maybe choose some less demanding goal.

Neph thanks for the advice. As I mentioned in the comment to Cvetka I've been to Čajnik already 2x, but it's true I've never been there at night. Before this ascent I'm heading to Železno Kaplo / Bad Eisenkappel, which I know well already.

On Wednesday two went towards Čajnik, if they reached the summit and what the conditions are, I don't know.

First entry was already at the beginning of 5th month. Then I went from Dolgih Njiv to Košuta ridge, down to saddle and did only upper part of ferrata to top. Snow in gullies still quite some. So suggest mandatory winter gear. Though doubt it'll be needed... Maybe for shortcut, Austrians went back direct down gully from top to saddle. Shortens the tour. Anyway Čajnik is hiked already. Everyone judge themselves how heavy backpack worth carrying. Good luck

Today on Čajnik then continued to Košutnikov turn and back via climbing path to hut. Path normally passable, protections ok, snow before ferrata entrance on Čajnik but no major issues. lp

The descent gully is still full of snow, but it's mostly soft enough. In places the descent is easier because of it.
The via ferrata is yuck though.

I'm also interested in the conditions for Cjajnik. Is there any sun during the day since the ferrata is on the north side? This week (Wednesday) I'd like to try this ferrata, would like some advice. Still some snow? Regards

After a long time gathering courage and fitness, we Prekmurje mountain enthusiasts also went to Cjajnik. And what can we say - beautiful wonderful and very difficult.
