That will be really good. I really miss the show Mountains and People.

First, in January next year, TV Slovenija will feature a documentary about the 8,047-meter-high Broad Peak, which Austrians first climbed exactly 50 years ago, and in 1986, 11 Slovenian alpinists stood on it. It was on Broad Peak that the Slovenian women's altitude record was also set. Summarized from rtvslo.si

Just today I watched the movie titled K2, not bad. Actually the first film dedicated to the theme of alpinism. Worth watching.

I also miss the show Mountains and People. It was by far the best - it reflects the traditional orientation of the Slovenian people towards mountaineering. Every alpine nation should have such a show!

Oh yes, where are the golden times of the Mountains and People show ... After the ad I read in mountaineering literature, I watched the show that was supposed to replace it somewhat, on TV Pika last time. What a pity! If I watch a show about mountains, I also want to see mountains!

I really miss the mountain hikes from Šetina that used to air in the morning hours on pop-tv. Does anyone maybe know if they will repeat them?

"It was precisely on Broad Peak that the Slovenian women's altitude record was also achieved."
Well, a Slovene woman has also been to Everest already.

Regarding shows on rtv I can say something, it's true that next year I think already around February there will be some documentaries about mountains in the Himalayas on schedule. Just 14 days ago they returned from 30 days of filming in the Himalayas. Filming of one documentary about our mountains is just now finishing, which will be extremely interesting since animals and rocks found in our mountains will also be presented. The documentary will be shot on classic 16mm film.

A colleague who works at Tvslo gave a "proposal" to the bosses to do real mountaineering shows, but they just brushed him off saying it's too much money...

On tvslo anyway money is only for skiing or for documentaries ala "post-war" we know what......

But for all those hojladri-hopsasa shows that the local geniuses push onto the program to dumb down the public, they have money!zmeden

As I've already said, the filming of the documentary in our mountains is finishing right in the next 14 days. This week filming will be on the slopes of Triglav Lakes,....

... And as the others have already said, an occasional documentary (mostly about foreign mountains, nice that they're even filming a whole one with us!) cannot replace a regular mountaineering show.

What's the title of that film already; when two are climbing in the Himalayas.... then on descent an accident happens and one falls into a crevasse... When everyone thinks it's over, he saves himself and crawls back to camp??

Man, I don't remember, but it's a super famous film... zmeden

Maybe you mean the film shot based on the book "Touching the Void", written by Joe Simpson? But that accident happened in the Peruvian Andes.
