Put the beer in your backpack and bury it deeper in the snow. It will cool nicely and you can drink it on the way downbig grin

It is urgently necessary to open a special thread (in general discussions) on cooling beer "on the way back".
When I get to my home computer, I'll post three photos right away.

I never carry alcoholic drinks with me. I put non-alcoholic drink in the backpack which I definitely need on the tour and some sandwiches just in case hunger grabs me on the way. On return from the summit I always treat myself to a beer in the hut regardless of price, since with that I support the PD that manages that hut. That's my principle. If someone doesn't like the hut and rather carries beer with them that's fine too, doesn't bother me. I know that winter visits to hills and mountains, on or below which there's an open hut, increase greatly. (Blegoš, Porezen, Ratitovec, Debela peč, Komna, Vršič etc). Prešernova koča and Stol with their location and hinterland would in my opinion be profitably visited in winter time. You can prove me wrong only if you open the hut next winter on weekends.

for me beer(lubica) is just as obligatory in the backpack as wc paper, likewise I never go past a hut(if open) without grabbing at least one!velik nasmehmežikanje

Carrying beer with you is unnecessary ballast!!!jezik but hut visit during and of course after the tour is obligatory! My humble opinion.mežikanje

Yes Ajax, no summit without beer (and a sip of schnapps). Yeah when does it fit better? Of course if there's a hut on the path then one or two there too (of course on descent)zavijanje z očmi.

Sometimes it fits, otherwise I don't drink alcohol, nor do I smoke.

Interesting topic nasmeh
Some summits "offer" also spirits (e.g. schnapps). Currently I remember only Smokušni vrh nasmeh

Beer can occasionally be obtained also at Klemenča jama, even though the hut is closed.
