Hudi Prask and Mrzla Gora

@gorn, beware: - the "Frischaufov dom" lodge burned down - the "Kocbekov dom na Korošici" burned down But there is a bunch of other huts in these parts, check the maps! Also make sure to make reservations in advance, in the high season and especially this year this is a must! Don't count on spending the night in "bivak" shelters, it can get crowded! And not just theoretically ... And as others pointed out, their purpose lies elsewhere. Your primary option should be a mountain lodge. Cheap everywhere and usually great service everywhere! It also allows you to travel light + other obvious advantages. Regarding your plan: "Klemenča Jama through the walley, Jazersko sadlo, near following Slovenska planinska pot to Kokrsko Sadlo and reach Dom v Kamniški Bistrici. It looks like very long for one day (theoretically 10hrs, but who knows)." This sounds kind of ambitious if the temperature is high and if you are a newcomer to these parts. If I were you, I'd try to do this in smaller chunks.

@n3jc We do not depend on bivaks nor count on them. I respect their emergency purpose. I also edited the map and marked Frischaufov dom as burned down. Thanks for your advice, it seems to me that if we stay in Klemenča jama, then we probably shorten the plan and use Turski žleb to get back to Dom v Kamniški Bistrici. We are ready for via ferrata, so if weather permits it will be nice. Second option will be to reach something like Dom planincov on the first day and sleep outside, which will make the second day less drastic.

Janez, don't worry so much. Slovenian mountains are popular with foreigners too and - despite "Czechs" in bivouacs - they contribute a significant portion to the operation and maintenance of our alpine huts. Such debates contribute to that too - even on forum pages not intended for such conversation. Be a bit more forgiving.

I apologize if I did not make myself clear. I fully respect bivouac for emergencies only, and if there are people misusing it I am sorry for them. Our mountaineering group operates shelters in Czechia, so believe that I know what kind of work it is. I have no problem paying for accommodation and the only reason we did not do so is that it is very difficult to find up-to-date contact info for some of the huts and difficult email communication with some of them.

You've really sped up, Dejan! Bravo! Some pics, like no. 15, are full of feeling of mountain solitude and life. Take care of yourself, good luck!
