Across the Seven Ravines

Hi! Maybe someone knows what the condition of the path across the seven ravines to Španov vrh is?? Given the numerous ravines, is there still any snow, or is the path passable at all due to fallen trees?? THANKS!!

.... No snow over the ravines anymore for sure. Based on the condition of the Ukova stream, which I cross on my morning walks, water shouldn't be a problem either. Fallen trees might be somewhere, but probably bypassable given the terrain.

There are plenty of fallen trees, so the path is occasionally a bit strenuous. Don't expect pleasure on this path.

.....Over seven ravines... Back along the mining path over Pejce. At the staples rocks are wet and slippery, careful. nasmeh

Was there this morning, some fallen trees and overgrown, but one can get through nasmeh

Path Čez sedem grabnov today.. otherwise OK, but due to high water a bit harder to pass at those places where you cross Ukovo, you have to wet your feet or put on boots nasmeh

@Jusk, how long does this marked path of the 7 ravines take? Probably the conditions haven't changed much by now, or have they? Thanks for the reply nasmeh

Hi, the path is surely easier to pass now because Ukova has nicely subsided since then. Regarding the duration.. from Ukova to Merco I needed approx 1 hour fast walking. That part through the ravine is approx 15-20min.. otherwise when there's snow it'll be slippery, so better go snow-free.. Lp

This afternoon I went recon through the 7 ravines, from Ukova to gully start along path all ok, through gully overgrown oh boy.. have to push through all that undergrowth and bushes nasmeh

water crossing no issue, water low. Extended path to Prihodi and back via Rudna path. Lp

After new fresh snow from Murova to Merco, back across Seven ravines to Ukova. Path to Merco ok, bit of postholing, also across ravines someone went before me. Bit tricky only exit from ravine at rock with staples, quite icy there, right after fallen trees over path, but passable no problem

Today from Španov vrh back to Ukova across seven ravines..trodden, lots of snow in gully, some newly fallen trees, Ukova nicely frozen, cross very carefully. Most annoying part at path end where rock with pegs, very icy. Lp

After shift walk from Ukova across seven ravines to Skavarjev rovt, back down path past Pejc. On path through ravine some fallen trees, little snow, careful crossing Ukova, icy. Somewhere read it's called across 7ravines cuz cross Ukova 7x, not true, only 4x nasmeh
