Grlovec

Today with a colleague across the border to Grlovec from D.Petra. We were lucky with views in all directions of the sky, only a fairly strong wind bothered us a little. The Stol summit, especially the summits on the entire Košuta ridge, were covered by "thick" clouds. On the path we met 7 Slovenes and only one Austrian.

Yes, from Ljubelj I went. The central part of the path, which runs along the forest road, isn't marked. I walked a good 4 hours, with signs it would probably be less than 6 hours from the starting point.
The path is not difficult to navigate, you just need to know which way to go at the junctions. In the next days I'll add a path description. There is more than 10 km of walking on the road (my estimate).

Dajčpeter - Grlovec and then Čepa gorge via shorter left variant with better halfnasmeh.
Path to Grlovec nicely marked and normally passable, summit really nice viewpoint.
From stamp only wooden stump leftzavijanje z očmi.

Wind and questionable weather dictated a closer goal for us this weekend, this time Grlovec at our neighbors. We set off to it from the village Bajdiše. The path is very well marked, maintained and fairly steep. The ground is mostly soft, no mud anywhere. On the path also some newly fallen trees, which are easily bypassed.
We started at the edge of the village Bajdiše1
The signpost leads us from the main road over the bridge and pasture into the forest2
A little higher there is a farm. We continue along the path above it3

Nice trip, followed by even nicer swimming in Ressnig lake near Borovlje. Path b.p., steep uphill and nothing at summit, downhill whoo. Nice day nasmeh

Today to Grlovec, path nicely marked and cleared, quite some hikers, parking lot fully occupied. Descent towards Petra then turned on road back east to parked car. Nice sunny morning with good views.

Path 603 from Dajčpetra currently closed due to windthrow in upper part, otherwise passable but quite some hassle crawling over and under fallen trees.
