Pyrenean cranesbill is common in Slovenia. It grows on shrubby slopes, meadows, roadsides.

Flowers are violet-red. Stem is erect. Leaves are kidney-shaped, divided into 5-9 lobes. Flowers in pairs at the top of the stem. Characteristic of flowers is that petals are connate. Stamens in flower somewhat longer than sepals. Summarized from Small Flora of Slovenia.
