Savica waterfall

Description of waterfall:
The waterfall, which is 78 m high and has a smaller sibling next to it that is 25 m high, is located on the Komarča wall near Lake Bohinj. The water flows through unexplored channels from the Black Lake, 500 m higher up. Just before the waterfall, the water emerges from the wall and splits into two streams still underground. The waterfall has the greatest flow in spring, when snow melts, or during autumn rains. During strong storms, the entire gully above the waterfall turns into a large waterfall. The roar of the waterfall during a storm is truly mighty. Below the waterfall is a small artificial pond. The waterfall is clearly visible from a wooden hut just a few meters in front of it.
