Monticello

Description of mountain:
It is a lower peak situated in the southern foothills of the Creta Grauzaria and Sernio mountain groups, north of Mužac/Moggio Udinese and west of the Aupa Valley. Despite its lower elevation, it offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, including the aforementioned Grauzaria and Sernio; across the Aupa, Zuc dal Bor, Monte Chiavals, and Počimunih dominate, while Lopič stands out to the south and Amariana to the southwest. The peak is ideal for an early spring snow-free hike, as Mediterranean influence melts the snow at this altitude faster than in our region.
