Dolenja vas - Griček

Access to starting point:
A) From the road Ribnica - Kočevje in the settlement Prigorica we turn right in the direction of Dolenja vas, to which we arrive after the bridge over the river Ribnica. Among the houses in Dolenja vas we turn right in the direction of the parish church by which we park on the arranged parking lot.
B) From Kočevje we drive towards Ribnica, still before Ribnica we turn left on the road in the direction of Dolenja vas and for a short time we drive parallel with the main road, then we pass into the built-up part of the settlement, where we go left in the direction of the parish church. We park on the arranged parking lot at the church.

Route description:
From the parking lot on the south side of the church we walk to the crossroad a few steps away, from which we continue on a side road which continues towards the west, and then it soon turns right and ascends past the last houses, where the asphalt ends. We continue on a cart track which a little further from the sign brings us to a smaller crossing, where we choose the right cart track, along which we quickly ascend to the water reservoir on the top of Griček, from where a beautiful view opens up towards Velika gora.
