Žernovská cave is a natural monument. It is located in the cadastral area of the village Omastiná in the Bánovce nad Bebravou district.
Rokoš (1,009.9 m a.s.l.) is the second highest peak of Nitrické vrchy, a geomorphological sub-unit of Strážovské vrchy. It is located in their southernmost part, on the border of Prievidza and Bánovce nad Bebravou districts.
