Wilder Kaiser | Snowshoe Tour to Gruttenhütte

In the semester holidays, we head to Tyrol to the Wilder Kaiser for a few days. The weather is forecasted to be rather modest, but we still want to make use of the time and hike up to the Gruttenhütte with snowshoes. Whether that works out, we don't know yet; no one is out and about, and only a few tracks lead upwards. Unfortunately, it closes up completely higher up again and again, so we decide to take our break where the tracks end! Only when it clears up a bit do we realize that we are sitting almost below the hut, so we decide to go further. Surprisingly, that went very well because we can now continue with snowshoes. But today we weren't granted a good panoramic view of the Ellmauer Halt and Co., so we head back down. Mia sets a record in snow flops, but we had quite a bit of fun on the way back.
