Description:
Breathing helium from a balloon is always a fun game done especially at parties. Helium, unlike other gases, is super light and causes a funny effect on the vocal cords. When inhaled, it passes over the vocal cords at a higher speed than normal air; consequently, they vibrate faster and the voice pitch becomes higher. It is a simple trick to perform and just one breath is enough to perceive the voice change within a few seconds.
