Description:
When you have the opportunity, as I do, to train in snow, you experience an indescribable sensation. The weather seemed to give me the chance to go out running, but when I was all ready, a snowfall started that accompanied me throughout the training. The landscapes change completely even though I knew the route. What is normally a straight path with quite a few rocks is now an immense plain where you can run totally relaxed on a comfortable mattress of fresh snow. As I left the city and entered the mountain, things changed for the worse. The snow layer became deeper and deeper and the risk of stepping where you shouldn't increased. In the end we reached the top and it was time to go down ... that's where the danger and fun begin at the same time. With more than soaked shoes, I couldn't linger much as I started to feel the cold in my feet. Descent with some caution and not without some falls without consequences thanks to the white mattress. Super fun training, a bit cold but very motivating. Warm shower and until next time.
