Exactly one year to the day earlier, we had gotten married on Zugspitze (see video: ► https://youtu.be/7KjFPmHjo0o).

Now, on 12.09.2019, our anniversary was to be duly celebrated - of course with a magnificent mountain tour! We had had the Watzmann traverse in mind for some time, but a few days earlier the weather turned - up to half a meter of snow fell above 2500m. As avowed summer mountaineers, the dream burst for us. But St. Peter was good to us: At the last moment it got warmer again and the snow melted away.
