Description:
Located in the Northern Black Forest between Nagold and Calw, quite hidden in the fir forest, lies the Waldeck castle ruins.
From the parking lot over the federal road past Hof Waldeck - then steeply uphill - you reach the relatively well-preserved castle ruins in about 20 minutes. The striking 'Opferaltar' and Reinhardsfelsen are not far from the castle.
