Description:
Wadi Rum lies east of the city of Akaba, south of the city of Maʿan and parallel to the Arava depression located in the west. Wadi is an area with a length of about 100 km and a width of about 60 km. It lies at about 800 m altitude, with the highest elevations being Dschabal Umm ad-Dami at 1832 m and Dschabal Ram at 1734 m.
