Description:
Built in 1941 as a military post, this refuge is set in a clearing within the Bosco de l'Alevè, the largest reserve of stone pines in Southern Europe. In this clearing there is also a small lake now submerged by snow. The only mountain visible is Rocca Jarea towards the end of the video. A perfect spring day with unusually high snow for the period.
