Description:
Fort located about halfway along the itinerary of the Forti Est di Tenda and is the second fort after Forte Centrale and before Forte Pepin. One notices the snow-covered mountains overlooking Vallée des Merveilles such as Cime du Diable, Mont du Grand Capelet continuing towards Italy with Rocca dell'Abisso, Bec Baral, in the distance Monviso, Monte Bertrand and Missun. Also visible is Colle di Tenda with Forte Centrale.
