The Valle Morobbia stretches for about 11 km between Giubiasco (254 m a.s.l.) and the San Jorio Pass at 2012 m a.s.l. The valley has a very narrow "V" shape along whose bottom the namesake watercourse flows, deeply incised and mostly invisible from above.
