Description:
A short but punchy tour when the weather is unstable.
We start at our hotel mountain village Locanda Ceaglio in Marmora Vernetti and begin with descent to Ponte Marmora. Here short on the main road towards Prazzo, soon left on the bike path along the left Maira bank good 3 km to Prazzo Superiore. From here hardcore uphill for muscle bikers like us - on gravel forest road with brutally steep ramps - in 5.8 km we do 600 uphill Hm to Colletto di Canosio. In between always shorter moderate sections for recovery. With some panoramic views. Colletto di Canosio is at 1670 m and forms the transition to Canosio. The downhill leads to Colle di Giovanni and to the chapel - here one could also choose the trail directly to Canosio. We stay on the road, as my dear Reini was still a bit battered from the fall the day before. Back to our hotel mountain village a short uphill.
