Known for its extraordinary architecture, with towers and crenellated walls it strikes those who observe it and immediately evokes the history, life and art of the Middle Ages. The manor is the synthesis of various construction campaigns over the years, due to the most important exponents of the Challant family: they enriched it with elegant pictorial decorations to adapt it as a representative seat and equipped it with the imposing defensive apparatus, as testimony to power and prestige. The events that marked the history of the noble family, after the second half of the 15th century, led the manor to a slow degradation.
