Description:
Footage dedicated to a nice snowshoe outing in Val d'Ayas, the goal this time was the ascent of Monte Croce, a little-known and little-visited mountain, a valid alternative to the more famous Becca di Nana, Becca Trecarè, Facciabella and Monte Roisetta. Worth considering and climbing. The route is always pleasant, and from the summit (weather permitting) it is possible to admire a fairy-tale panorama! We ascended from Saint Jacques via Vallone di Nana, SE side and ridge (with descent via the same itinerary). Difficulty: EE/BR. Total elevation gain: 1205 m. Trip on 17-12-2012. Participants: Stelvio Lanzone, Andrea Castagno, Maria Carla Parrotta. The video was uploaded in full HD 1080p. Here you can consult the report of the ascent itinerary http://www.gulliver.it/itinerario/15546/.
