On the way to South Tyrol, we made a detour to the Watles ski area behind Reschen Pass. First up the winter hiking trail to Plantapatschhütte, where a beautiful panorama over Vinschgau opens up. Then back down the toboggan run to the parking lot and on to our hotel south of Bozen.
