Description:
Today's tour runs from the parking lot at Auenhütte, first over a forest path to the middle station and then over good hiking trails further to the point where one must turn left to Ifen. Anyone who wants to go up there must now go up a small via ferrata to the long edge of Ifen. From there, the path to the front summit is not far. The view from there is breathtaking. Now it goes back and after the via ferrata, one goes left further over a narrow path until one reaches Hahnenköpfle. Of course, there is also the option of not going up to Ifen at all, but directly on to Hahnenköpfle.
