The Hungarian-Turkish Friendship Park is a public memorial park located next to Szigetvár, established in 1994 in memory of the 1566 siege of Szigetvár, the enemy commanders who lost their lives in the battle, Miklós Zrínyi and Sultan I (the Great) Suleiman, as well as the reconciliation between the Hungarian and Turkish peoples, financed by the Turkish state.
