We are near the Cansiglio plateau, also near Tambre, more precisely at Pian Formosa, the starting point for our hike to Bivacco Toffolon!
The trail we took is number 979 which climbs initially through the woods then up scree. The route is just over 3 km but with 800 m elevation gain to Bivacco Toffolon (1993 m)
