PD Strahinjčica trip to 'Trail of Stone Steps' on 8.8.2021.
The Trail of Stone Steps is a revived old path through Klamaruš hill, overlooking the village of Baretići near Grižane, behind Crikvenica, which in past times was one of the connections between settlements and forest areas and Gorski kotar. Along the trail, a beautiful landscape is revealed, as well as natural and cultural-historical monuments (sacred objects, hillfort...). It is a circular trail about 10 kilometers long, overcoming 380 m of elevation gain. It features over 1,300 carved or built into the rock stone steps. The view encompasses Vinodolska Valley, Tribaljsko Lake, sea, islands, and Učka in the distance.
